This re-release of ‘You left me ‘cos I wouldn’t change my ways’ puts a fresh spin on the original, with a sped-up tempo that hits harder, driven by punchy drums and a fantastic live band feel. A driving riff and tasty guitar licks power the lyrics, which tell of consequences catching up with you and having no-one else to blame. The track, which features some of Australia’s best musicians, including Peter Northcote and Dario Bortolin, is a remix of the original from Cassady’s debut EP ‘Don’t ask me’, which also features a cover of the Rolling Stone’s track ‘No Expectations’ which has received public and critical acclaim.
